In the picture: Stageworks aka Jasper waiting to get his second place ribbon for green horse pleasure! Ridden by me; Ashley Irvine. Photo taken by my friend Wendy Killoran.

Horse: Jasper, Reg. name “Stageworks”

Owner: Ashley Irvine, Roseneath, Ontario, Canada

This is Jasper. I got him in July, 2010, and it was very hard for him to adjust to living outside with the rest of my horses. After dealing with a few issues, he is happy and healthy and doing great! He is being used as a pleasure horse with future plans of being a hunter. He has started over cross rails and placed first and second in green horse pleasure classes and cross rail classes last summer. He also loves trail rides and is looking forward to the summer. He is ridden in a bitless bridle and really loves it!

Jasper was foaled in Kentucky in 2006, and is by Five Star Day out of Stage Performance by Stage Door Johnny. He had 12 starts and won one race, earning $24, 564. He has a really cool pedigree with lots of champion names, and no inbreeding within five generations. Some of the great names includ Princequillo, Mossborough, Mr. Prospector, Bold Forbes, Bold Ruler, Cox’s Ridge, Native Dancer and many more.
