The CCI* division just wrapped up here in Kentucky. With multiple rails falling in the Top 10, the top 3 positions were quite different than yesterday. As everyone stated earlier in the week – this was definitely not a dressage competition.

1st – Nicole Doolittle & Tops (48.1) of Area III

Nicole started the competition in 2nd place and finished on that great score. She moved into the lead yesterday and kept it today, with a solid clear round under pressure to be a double gold medalist here at NAJYRC 2013.

Individual BRONZE – April Simmonds & Impressively Done

Another impressive climb up the leaderboard, April sat in 13th after dressage, added 1.2 time penalties cross-country yesterday and a clear round moved her up from 8th overnight to earning the bronze medal.

Huge congratulations to all the medalists and riders in this division.
