You go to the barn to ride. But the weather forecast looks like this.

radarYou are not sure, but what the heck. It’s worth a try. You get out a horse, get tacked up, and go out to the ring. This is what you see.

Overgrown with grass!

But you think you can see the sun:

The sun. It's there. I promise.

Well, it begins to rain, so you go back into the barn, and look around. There’s a lot to do.

Pile of laundry. If your horses never get their blankets dirty, I don't think you live on the same planet with the rest of us.

Or this chore:

Cobweb the stalls.

What about getting this done:

How hard is it to pick up a broom, lazybones?

OK, there’s more to do:

An endless mound of...tack to clean!

An endless mound of…tack to clean!

And you don’t even want to look outside the barn, this is what you find:

It's a jungle! This is supposed to be a flowerbed in front of the barn. Yeah, right. I'm weeding that, OK.

Proper stable management is an efficient use of time and resources. I’m saving energy. Mother Nature is helping out on the dirty blanket pile.

Eco-barn management.

Phew. Too much to do. I think I will …..
