As many of you know, I work for a big horse magazine in the UK. I’m really lucky to be based in the countryside instead of having to live or commute into London. At lunchtime, when the words on my screen start to meld into one, I like to go out for a walk. We have this amazing National Trust park called the Devil’s Punchbowl within a five minute drive of the office. It used to be the main thoroughfare into London until they built this massive tunnel under it a few years back – now the road has returned to nature and it’s breathtakingly beautiful. Today we saw this herd of semi-feral ponies napping in the sun.
