It was a family affair at the Ontario Trillium Hunter Jumper Championships Sunday September 14th, as the Armstrong Triplets (aka The A-Team) competed in the lead line class. It was the first time we have ever had all three in the ring at the same time and I think the grandparents has just as much fun as the kids did. There were 15 budding riders in the class, and the judge gave everyone a championship ribbon for riding so well. I got a hug when he found out my crew were triplets, he also told me to start saving up, because they all looked very comfortable on the ponies and could have successful riding career. Yikes! The Competition took place September 10th-14th at the Caledon Equestrian Park, home of the 2015 Pan Am Games. Sunday’s competition was deja vu for J.P., last year at 8 months old he competed on the same pony.

It was the first time in the ring for Ashton (right) riding “Prince Charming” owned by Erin Amos. Trina Maus (aka Mommy) was leading Taylor, Judy Lawrie (aka Granny) lead J.P., and Roger Maus (aka Grandpa) lead Ashton. All the ponies are stabled at Top of the Hill Farm in Coldwater Ontario.
