LillaRose Equestrian style

Lilla Rose Equestrian style

Having very little hair-styling skill has not stopped me from trying a wide array of styles, cuts and colors…with varying degree of success. My hair hates products and fights them by going limp and looking greasy. Now that I’m in my mid-forties, I have settled on a shoulder length style that is just long enough to put in a ponytail for when I wear a helmet (and for after I remove said helmet). So, I have a drawer full of black elastic hair bands, and boy are they stylish! NOT. Wouldn’t it be great to spend the same amount of time on your hair, but actually look cute and put together, even after you remove your helmet?

I have tried clips but my hair just slides through them, or they are too bulky. Many are heavy enough that you feel them on your head. But recently, I had an opportunity to try Lilla Rose products, specifically the Flexi Hair Clips, and I love them! They are cute, easy to use and they stay put even in my rebellious hair. They are very well-made and look like they will last a long time!

I took them to try with my daughter Miranda and her boyfriend’s little girls, Alexis and Alayna. They all loved the clips. Miranda has very long and heavy hair, so she used the large clip on her hair. Alexis has thinner hair so she used the small, and Alayna used the medium. Lilla Rose has a handy video on their website that will help you determine which size is best for you.

Alexis who is 8 years old was able to put the clip in her own hair, and the next morning she styled herself and I received a picture of her very pretty ponytail. They loved the clips so much that I felt pretty lucky to leave there with one left for myself!

LillaRose has a lot more products than the Flexi Hair clips, and you can check them out at their website.

They have a few equestrian styles that are really cute, and a wide variety of others. There are plain metal ones, or you can chose some bling and sparkle. With this many great designs, I may just become a collector!
