It’s been a while since my first installment of Dressage for Dad, but here is another video.
Just like before I have broken down the movements as they are described and scored in the test; it is not verbatim, but close. Then I have included the score for that movement and any comments from the judges. My Danish language translation abilities are limited to what I can remember being told and google for the rest. Any comments of my own I have added in (parenthesis).
This test is “M” level, which is between 3rd and 4th level. I’m riding Double Up, a 2004 Danish Warmblood gelding.
Now, after watching this video you have more tools with which to critique! Dad, know you are now equipped to confidently say, “Eiren, you need to keep him higher in the frame, with his nose more in front.” To which I will sigh and reply, “I know.”
Dressage test with scores, so that Dad can continue his dressage education, to become a better rail-bird/critic.
