Yasmin Pinchen is the youngest rider on the Longines Global Champions Tour. At 19, her life consists of riding her gorgeous horses in the most prestigious venues across the world. She competes three horses on the LGCT – Umorkus, Ashkari and Van de Vivaldi. When you’re up against seasoned pros like the Whitakers, Olympic medalists like Steve Guerdat and world number one ranked Christian Ahlmann, the pressure can be immense, but Yasmin seems relaxed. She enjoys sunbathing and sightseeing when she’s not training and competing. She also breeds micro pigs and has won medals at the European Championships at pony, children on horses and junior levels.
I had the opportunity to chat with the British rider in the warm up area at the Longines Global Champions Tour in London.
