Well, I am sweaty, smelly and exhausted but what a thrill to be a part of a team that has just won a silver medal!
We were aiming for gold to win the one Olympic spot, and we made a valiant effort. The riders did not give it away, nor did they make it easy for the US team and they only edged us out by the narrowest of margins. At the end of the day, we had almost all riders scoring personal best scores. All riders over both team competition days scored over 70%! With scores today over 75%! They really WON silver!
The medal ceremonies were an amazing experience and what a thrill to watch the riders do their victory gallop around the arena.
Congratulations, everyone! USA and Brazil, who narrowly beat Mexico for bronze and were the happiest most emotional of he bunch! Congratulations Brazil!
Here are the ride times for the Freestyle on Tuesday.
