With the Olympics rapidly approaching, this #StallionSunday we highlight the young, up-and-coming Hanoverian stallion, Sternlicht GGF. With an impressive canter, overall movement, conformation, and character, Sternlicht GGF is a stallion to watch for the future.

Sternlicht GGF epitomizes the modern sport horse. He was licensed by both the Hanoverian and ISR/Oldenburg registries in 2013, and impressed with his type, movement, and character. His canter is a particular highlight and earned scores of 8 and 8.5 at his licensing.
Sternlicht GGF has had an excellent in-hand career as addition to a strong under-saddle career. In 2011 he commandingly won his Yearling Colts class with a score of 85%. He earned multiple Championships as a two-year old and Reserve Champion for USDF Horse of the Year honors and Champion for All-Breeds awards with a median score over 82%.
His under-saddle career began in 2014, where Sternlicht GGF competed in the USEF 4-Year Old classes. He earned scores as high as 8.5 throughout the season and easily qualified for the USEF/Markel Young Horse National Championships where he finished in 8thplace. His year-end median score also tied him for the American Hanoverian Society’s USEF 4-Year Old Division Championship.
