This #StallionSunday we’re featuring a high quality stallion currently available at Hilltop Farm. For those who dream of the perfect hunter derby horse, Vallado and his offspring are the perfect pick. He is registered as Vallado, but was shown under the name of Praise for much of his life. He is known for his ability to produce elegant, rideable offspring.

During his time in the High Performance Hunter divisions, Vallado racked up wins at shows such as Lexington, Devon, and Wellington. Under Kelly Farmer, he excelled as an International Hunter Derby horse, competing 28 times and ranking 16th on the Lifetime Earnings for money won. In addition to his success in the hunters, Vallado has competed up to 1.40m. Vallado has been praised for embodying the modern hunter type and style.

As a young stallion he was champion of his 30-day Performance Test and earned scores of 9.25 for character and rideability, with none of his other scores being below an 8.  True to his lineage, Vallado produces elegant offspring with great athletic abilities and rideable minds. Many of Vallado’s offspring have found success on European jumper circuits and at major American hunter shows.
